Art off the Wall

I spent the holidays making stuff and painting.I find the holidays difficult,as many do and I generally stay busy with projects that keep bubbling up.I finally made the last boudoir lamp.I knew what I wanted to do but it required cutting up a vintage kid opera glove. Why this causes such hyperventilation considering they are unwearable. They are so incredibly tiny.vintage white kid opera glove

So once I got over the it and finally took scissors to glove the lamp came together.Turns out it wasn’t so painful and they have a new life instead of living in a drawer.

Sadly,it is the last of the of the faceted rock crystal piece.Every single part of this lamp is recycled ,though I use new wiring for safety.
